All students must be in their seats and working on bell ringers WHEN the bell rings.

 

Be polite- no speaking without permission.

 

All assignments must be turned in on time- no excuses.

 

All books and utensils must be brought to class every day. (No returning to locker- do not ask).

 

Students are not to get out of their desks without permission. (This includes going to the wastebasket, to sharpen pencils, or to get a tissue.) Always remain seated when the teacher or other students are talking or presenting.

 

Respect the property of others. Do not touch projects, graded papers, or anything on the teacher’s desk without permission.

 

Always be polite and respectful to teachers and fellow classmates.

 

No blankets or pillows are to ever enter the classroom.

 

No food or drinks (with the exception of bottled water).

 

Students are only given 2 emergency bathroom passes per semester. (So, use them wisely).

 

Failure to comply with rules will result in the following:

 

· Verbal warning/ student conference

· Contact of parents

· Office referral

Any major act of inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate removal of the student from the classroom and an office referral.
