Mrs. Cathy Bean-Gamble is a native of Birmingham, Alabama.  However, her family origins are in St. Clair County.  As a result, she appreciates the great potential that the students have in this county.  Mrs. Gamble is an honors graduate from Samford University in Birmingham.  She has a Master’s Degree in English and one in Educational Leadership from the University of Montevallo.  She is currently pursuing a doctorate from the University of Alabama.  Mrs. Gamble teaches Senior English at Moody High School and sponsors the award winning MHS Literary Magazine.
