Mrs. PriceText Box: Mrs. Price is a 1987 graduate from Leeds High School. From there she went on to receive her BS at the University of Montevallo in Education of the Hearing Impaired. She completed her MA at the University of Alabama with a degree in Education of the deaf and hard of hearing with mild addition disabilities. Mrs. Price began teaching in 1992 in the Jefferson County School system as an itinerant hearing impaired teacher. She traveled all over the eastern portion of Jefferson County working with the hearing impaired. Eventually she ended back at her alma mater, LHS, teaching sign language. When this class was no longer offered, Mrs. Price moved to Clay-Chalkville High School where she worked with students with learning disabilities and mild emotional problems or mild mental retardation. After four years at CCHS, she had the opportunity to come to Moody High School and has been here since August of 2006.
